The deal pays 127 dollars a share in cash with no financing contingency and is expected to close by year end 2026\. Integer employs about 11,000 people under the Greatbatch Medical and Lake Region Medical brands. Record Medicare finalized a rule making bundled payment for hip, knee and ankle replacement surgery mandatory at every eligible hospital nationwide, the first mandatory nationwide bundle CMS has ever run. The rule also raises hospital payment rates 2.3 percent, worth about 2.1 billion dollars. Hospitals and device makers like Stryker and Zimmer Biomet have until January 1, 2028 to prepare.
