Curium, a manufacturer of the radioactive drugs used to find and treat cancer, agreed to buy Lantheus, maker of the leading prostate cancer PET scan, for up to 114.50 dollars a share, about 8 billion dollars total.
Announced August 3, 2026, the largest deal in radiopharmaceutical industry history. Lantheus's PYLARIFY scan alone made 240.9 million dollars in Q1 2026. Deal expected to close first half of 2027.
