Alignment's California plan, about 75% of its members, falls to 3.5 stars. It says 2026 and 2027 revenue is unaffected, 2028 bonuses are not, and it expects to sue. Humana says it beat its top-quartile goal. Why it matters Star ratings set quality bonus money two years out, so a rating posted this week decides 2028 revenue for insurers and shapes the plan choices seniors see.
